This is an extract from the 1881 Census Returns for Northumberland which includes Bowsden.
Living at number 18 Bowsden Village is John Jures. John, aged 60 years, was the head of the household, married with two children and two servants. His occupation was that of a Farmer of 100 acres and he was born at Chatton in Northumberland.
