Newbiggin-by-the-Sea, Launching the "Ada Lewis" - Click for bigger imageCrowds gather to watch the launching of Newbiggin's fifth lifeboat "Ada Lewis". She was provided by a £1,000 gift from Mrs Lewis-Hill of London, and named by Mrs Burdon of Hartford Hall, Bedlington on July 27th 1907.
