Blyth, Harbour Dredger  - Click for bigger imageThe Steam bucket dredger "Cowpen" c.1920. It arrived in Blyth in 1913 and during its 51 years it is estimated that it cleared 15 million tons of spoil. The "Cowpen" left Blyth in 1964 for Naples, having been sold to Italian owners.
