Longhorsley, The Pele Tower - Click for bigger imageExterior view of the pele tower at Longhorsley, situated at the western end of the village. The tower used to belong to the Horsley family before passing to the Riddells. By the end of the nineteenth century it was the residence of the local Catholic priest.
