Berwick, Union Chain Bridge - Click for bigger imageThe Union Chain Bridge, which was erected by Captain S. Brown in 1820. The bridge is over 430 feet long and 18 feet wide. It is made of iron but is very lightweight, weighing only 100 tonnes.
