Alnwick, Bondgate Tower - Click for bigger imageBondgate Tower in Alnwick. It is also known as Hotspur Tower, as it is supposed to date from the the time Henry "Hotspur" Percy lived in the fourteenth century. Alnwick once had four gates to the entrances of the town, but this is the only tower that remains.
