Newbiggin-by-the-Sea, Portrait of "Billy the Whaler" - Click for bigger imagePortrait photograph of William Robinson, also known as Billy the Whaler. He was born in 1858 and was for many years the Coxwain of the Newbiggin-by-the-Sea Lifeboat. He died in 1929.
