This entry, extracted from the Bedlington parish baptism register 1779 - 1812, refers to Eleanor Robinson born 4th May 1803 and baptised 16th October 1803. She was the daughter of Stephen Robinson, who was an Engine Wright by profession. Stephen's wife was recorded as Elizabeth Robison, both were native of Bedlington Parish.
When a person is baptised an entry is made in the baptism register. Of particular interest are the baptism registers for the period 1798-1812. These are known as Bishop Barrington registers.
