This entry, extracted from the Haydon Bridge parish baptism register 1798 - 1812, refers to James Brown born 2nd April 1799 and baptised 14th April 1799. He was the son of Edward Brown, who was a native of Haydon Bridge. Edward's wife was recorded as Mary Underwood.
