This entry, extracted from the Longhorsley parish baptism register 1798 - 1812, refers to Thomas Patterson born 20th December 1798 and baptised 20th January 1799. He was the son of George Patterson of Longhorsley. George's wife was recorded as Isabel Turnbull.
When a person is baptised an entry is made in the baptism register. Of particular interest are the baptism registers for the period 1798-1812. These are known as Bishop Barrington registers.
