Acomb County First School, Log Book - Click for bigger imageThis is an extract taken from a School Log Book. On the 6th February pupil attendance was low due to an epidemic of colds due to the poor weather. These books recorded the day to day running of the school. The headteacher was responsible for filling in a weekly, or in some cases, a daily record of the schools events. Northumberland Archives Service holds records of many Northumberland schools.
