This is an extract from the 1881 Census Returns for Northumberland which includes Stannington.
Living at number 54 Stannington Village is Thomas Archer. Thomas, aged 44 years, was the head of the household, married with six children. His occupation was that of a Coachman and he was born at Alston in Cumberland.
