This is an extract from the 1881 Census Returns for Northumberland which includes Riding Mill.
Living at The Riding is Archibald Little. Archibald, aged 64 years, was the head of the household, married with six children. His occupation was that of a Farmer. He employed six labourers and farmed 150 acres of land. He was born at Bewcastle in Cumberland.
