This is an extract from the 1881 Census Returns for Northumberland which includes Catton.
Living at number 7 Catton Village is John Bulman. John, aged 45 years, was the head of the household, married with five children. His occupation was that of a Lead Ore Smelter and he was born at Allendale in Northumberland.
